THE HIGH QUEST

The main task in a druid's life is the high quest for the truth in its pure and divine form and to become a master.

The druidic lore is based on the pattern knowing - daring - keeping silent, and you have to gain mastership of the self, of the world and of the unknown.

On this search we try to observe and experience everything just to become acquainted with all aspects of creation to understand its principle and coherences and to recover its secrets.
The three tasks cohere with each other, and solving all of them will enlighten you. Only if you have mastered your self you will be able to master the world, and with these two masterships you will become able to master the unknown.

MASTERSHIP OF THE SELF
An old druidic rule says: If you want to understand the entire universe you will understand nothing at all. First you have to understand yourself, then you will get to understand the universe.
Therefore every druid has to find the answer to three special questions.
These are the following ones:

1) What is the object of your biggest fear?

2) What is your real identity, the essence of your soul, and your destiny?

3) What will the future bring to you, what is in store for you?

MASTERSHIP OF THE WORLD
For this aspect you have to experience nature with all its different qualities and forms of appearance. You have to get confronted with all aspects of life, and then you have to get over all your simple urges and desires which will not enlighten you. You have to learn to defend yourself and to get independent from all processes in the material world except the ones of nature.
If you have passed this, the world cannot harm your mind anymore.

MASTERSHIP OF THE UNKNOWN
This is the most difficult task, but after having gained the ability to understand and control the self and the world an enlightened mind may not find it that hard anymore to face the unknown.
This is the realm of Gods, ghosts, elves and so on. It basically implies everything ordinary people do not know much about. They usually cannot see this world, so they either are afraid of it or they simply do not believe in its existance.
But it does exist, and to become a true druid you have to get over your fear and face this seemingly uncontrolable dimension.

You will soon get acquainted with it. Some ghosts will talk to you, some will help you, some will scare you and some will posess you. You will experience wonderful things, but also horror. You will see archetypes and you will perceive energy, perhaps for the first time in your whole existance, and it will confuse you.
Your task is to understand this world and gain control over it. This will probably imply several strange fights, but also enlightening experiences.

These three tasks will cause inner growth, they let you become a master and they will give you the ability to see the truth.
